Cardiology Care that Goes the Extra Mile

Yesterday one of our patients came to see Dr. Dinesh Pubbi to have her pacemaker checked. Unfortunately the patient was unable to get out of the car and into our building. Dr. Pubbi with the help from several of our staff and one of our Boston Scientific reps – Jamie Kirkley, took our equipment out to the patient in her car. Talk about curb service! Thanks everyone for going the extra mile!

Shimadzu announces 1st U.S. Trinias digital angiography system installation

Torrance, CA – February 2, 2015 – Shimadzu Medical Systems USA is pleased to announce the first U.S. installation of its Trinias C-12 high performance “cross over” system at First Coast Heart & Vascular Center in Jacksonville, FL. This first North American installation of the Trinias angiographic system was completed by shimadzu dealer/partner CMS Imaging of North Charleston, SC and began operation at the medical center in late January.

The Trinias 12 family of digital angiography  systems (ceiling and floor mounts), which received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510-K clearance in 2014, are designed as a “crossover” room to perform both vascular and or cardiac interventional examinations. At First Coast Heart & Vascular Center, the ceiling mounted Trinias C-12 has been equipped with a 58-inch Eizo 8MP display monitor and a Mennen Hemodynamic system.

Patient safety is at the forefront of the system, with seven radiation dose reduction features to produce high quality images with a minimum of radiation dose exposure. Its SCORE PRO imaging processing technology dramatically enhances fluoroscopic images and provides multiple specialized functions to expedite exam procedures.

First Coast Heart & Vascular Center provides a wide range of cardiac services at eight facilities in three northeast Florida counties. An open house for area medical professionals is planned Thursday, February 5, 2015 showcasing the Trinias installation at First Coast’s state-of-the-art cardiac and vascular treatment center located at 14810 Old St. Augustine Rd, Suite 210, in Jacksonville from 3:30 – 8:00pm.
